This ZSPEC-produced item was designed from the OEM single-din unit and fitted to multiple Double-DIN style radios during design efforts. Our goal was to improve upon the poor-fitting existing units on the market and provide brackets that can actually..be used.
Unlike the others on the market (that is a copy of another product which is NLA...) our unit was created from scratch. Fitment of the bezel is focused to provide a clean look and brackets went through several revisions to provide the widest-possible radio-support. Brackets have "most common" mounting points (fitting many popular units). Additional mounting holes/points are included should other mounting points need to be used.
ZSPEC HYDRO-DIPPED Carbon-Fiber Style Kits include:

- Center Trim Plate & Clips

- Heavy-Duty Brackets (zinc-plated steel, ZSPEC-designed)
- Install Sheet (to help you with your installation)
Installation Note: you will need to transfer your existing single-din's air-ducts, mounting clips and factory clock to the new bezel. Our brackets utilize the radio-mounting hardware and OEM fasteners. If not comfortable doing installs/modifications yourself, please consult an audio-installation shop to get assistance.
Double-DIN Stereo OPENING in the face-plate is 173mm wide x 100mm tall - fitting most "6.8" double-din stereos on the market. Please verify your stereo face specifications for width/height before ordering.

I recently picked up a 93 Convertible which was pretty tired in the interior appointments, so my goal was to fully update the car and restore it to better-than-new condition. I incorporated a lot of Z-Spec parts in my build and every item they make is of the highest quality! I used a new flagship Pioneer 10" head unit, and loved the matte carbon fiber finish bezel and matching Z-Spec brackets. It really finishes off the install perfectly!
I've used so many of their polished stainless hardware sets and fasteners, their window switch trims and buttons (the old factory ones were so tired looking), and now this car is like new again. Z-Spec is top notch!
